Friends of Shahnameh celebrates Ferdowsi and his Shahnameh (a literary masterpiece with universal human values) for 12 years in a row. Shahnameh was written over a millennium ago, but some of the topics discussed are still relevant today.
Using the links below you can access this year's on-line events for the 12th Commemoration Day of Ferdowsi (2022). These events are in Persian, but we have an English session on the 15th May at 2pm, Guild Hall, Stockport. Hope to see some of you then.

برنامه با معرفی شاهنامه به انگلیسی آغاز می‌شود و با موسیقی و بخش فارسی ادامه خواهد یافت. فرصت برای خرید کتاب و پذیرایی ناقابلی با چای و شیرینی هم خواهد بود. با حضور #دکترمحمودکویر
